Sainet Phiri is a faithful man of vision and commitment.  He was born in Zambia and grew up with 2 brothers and 7 sisters.  After the miraculous and immediate healing of his younger sister's club foot, the entire family came to faith in Christ, with Sainet trusting in Jesus on Christmas Eve in 1982.  In his late teens, Sainet felt the call to ministry and began to pursue as much discipleship and training as he could find.  Eventually he was able to attend Christian Vocational and Training Centre (CVTC), a missions school which trained in both theology and pioneering missions work.  He graduated with a diploma in Missions and Church Planting.  Following graduation, Sainet launched a cell church in Bauleni, Zambia through evangelism and discipleship.  Over time, that gathering of believers became East Gate Revival Centre, where he still shepherds the flock in Bauleni.

Sainet has served with Strategic Impact since 2005, and currently serves as the Sub-Saharan Africa Regional Director.  He has been used of God to train hundreds of Pastors and Church leaders in evangelism, discipleship, and church planting, and has helped launch several Church Planting Movements in various nations of Sub-Saharan Africa.

Sainet lives in Lusaka, Zambia near the community of Bauleni with his wife, Eunice and three children:  Joshua, Jonathan, and Joanna.  Their fourth child, Jedidah, is a resident of heaven.
