Nationals reaching nationals!

I just received an update from Reuben Mwambola who lives in Kigali, Rwanda. Reuben does a great job overseeing and expanding our work in Rwanda, Burundi, and the Eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo. He just returned home from Bujumbura, Burundi, where he and the local SI Team equipped over 50 leaders in evangelism, discipleship, leadership, and church planting.

From this 3-day training, 53 Leaders enrolled in our School of Multiplying Church Planters! Over the next several months they will be working in teams in character accountability, weekly evangelism, and daily application requirements of each lesson. As they progress through the School they will evangelize, disciple new believers, launch new cell churches and train new leaders. ,Multiplication is built in to the process!

You may be curious as to what the results are from this type of work… In the first 4 months of 2017, in Burundi alone, we have: Trained 209 Leaders, Enrolled 178 New Leaders in the SMCP, won 424 New Believers to faith in Christ, and planted 37 New Cell Churches!

But here is an important piece of information about this: No U.S. Member of our team has been to Burundi, nor Rwanda, nor Eastern DRC! ALL of this has been nationally led. Our Tanzania team helped Burundi launch a few years ago, and the work spread from there!

God is truly using Strategic Impact to “Equip Nationals to Reach Nations!” - And YOU are an essential member of the team! Without you, Reuben could not fulfill his calling! Without your partnership, the growth in Burundi, Rwanda, Zambia, Burkina Faso, Venezuela, Cuba, Spain, Mexico… the list goes on - would have never happened! Thank you for standing with us!
