A new year!

The end of one year and the beginning of another often is a time when we stop and reflect about what has gone before and plan for what is ahead. At Strategic Impact we are grateful for what God has done in the past - U.S. and international staff that have been added and grown, leaders who have been trained, churches that have been planted, people who have come to Christ, multiplying disciples that have been made.

Did we accomplish all that we dreamed last year? No. Rarely are all our plans and goals met. But sometimes God does far more that we ever expected, as we experienced on several occasions last year. I am reminded of Paul’s great advice as we turn the page of the calendar for 2011: “But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” None of individually or corporately can ‘rest on our laurels,’ or wallow in our regrets. Rather, we press on toward God’s great future plans for us.

When we train leaders around the world I sincerely tell them that I believe this is the best time ever to live as a Christian. God is doing more in the world today to bring people to faith in Christ and to start new churches than any other time in history. I believe it is no accident that these leaders - and you and I - live at this time and in the place where we live. He invites us and wants to use us to accomplish His great purposes in these unprecedented days of opportunity. Our ministry has developed 10 specific goals for the coming year. If God enables us to come close to meeting these goals, we believe it will have a profound and eternal impact for the Kingdom of God in this world.

Thank you for your strategic and significant part in giving to this ministry. Your prayers and donations make it possible for us to train leaders who will make multiplying disciples who will plant multiplying churches all over the world. We are sincerely grateful for your partnership with us in the Gospel!
